About This Campaign

I am excited to share that I will be joining Habitat Inland Valley on an international build. We will be renovating a home for a family in Portugal!  Some of the worst homes in this region don ́t have electricity, basic sanitation, running water and/or lack insulation.

Can I count you in to help this family in need? Please help me spread the word!

For many years the Lage family has dreamed of having their own home. The family is comprised of Madalena and Fernando and their three children. Their daughter, Ana, suffers from a mental impairment, and although she is physically independent, she needs monitoring and assistance. The family presently lives in a rented house with poor living conditions, including very limited space, high levels of humidity, an outdoor bathroom and low indoor temperature as some exterior walls are made of wood. The house Habitat Portugal is going to rebuild is a family inheritance, but is currently not suitable for living. In this project, outdoor and indoor renovations will be done and after many years, this family will finally have their own home, where they can have a happy life as a family.
Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley

Campaign to Support Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley

Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley was founded in 1991, as an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, to provide low income housing for families in the Inland Valley. We serve the cities of Temecula, Murrieta, Wildomar, Lake Elsinore, Canyon Lake, Sun City, Menifee, and Perris. Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally, as well as globally, through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their housing conditions. Habitat for Humanity was found on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, decent place to live and that it should be a matter of conscience and action for all.
